Over 100 abused and neglected children enter the Family Court system every week in South Carolina. You can be the person who makes a difference for those children. |
|
Our volunteers are people committed to standing up for abused children. As of October, 2008 over 1,500 volunteers statewide, were serving over 4,800 children. Volunteering to be an advocate for an abused child can be a unique, richly rewarding opportunity. Men and women who are over the age of 21, from all backgrounds, races, and educational levels can be trained to serve as volunteer advocates. You can become a GAL volunteer and help an abused child.
