Over 100 abused and neglected children enter the Family Court system every week in South Carolina. You can be the person who makes a difference for those children. |
|
Our volunteers are people committed to standing up for abused children. During FY 08-09, 1,953 volunteers served as advocates for 7,984 children. Our dedicated volunteers spend an average of 4-6 hours per month on a case. Men and women who are over the age of 21, from all backgrounds, races, and educational levels can be trained to serve as volunteer advocates. You can become a GAL volunteer and help an abused child.
